Ragged School Museum, London, UK

To celebrate the October 'spooky season', the Guild took a trip into London wearing their finest historical mourning attire. We first visited the Ragged School Museum to learn about the charitable work of Dr John Barnardo, and have some tea and cake in the café.

Left: Exploring the Ragged School Museum's exhibition spaces.

Right: Posing in the Victorian schoolroom.

We then walked to Tower Hamlets Cemetery where to posed for photographs and investigated the old gravestones.

Famished after an afternoon of exploring, we headed to The Morgan Arms for a delicious pub meal before heading home for the night.

Thank you to everyone who attended - a similar spooky event will return to London for October 2026.
